90 rockets fired from Lebanon to Israel
90 rockets were fired from Lebanon into Israeli territory. These rockets were fired yesterday at 9 pm local time. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) reported this. On the other hand, at least 41 people were killed in Lebanon in the Israeli attack yesterday.
At least one of the rockets from Lebanon hit the northern Israeli city of Haifa, the IDF said. However, no casualty was reported in the incident. The Lebanese armed group Hezbollah claimed responsibility for several of the rocket attacks.
According to the IDF, 115 rockets were fired from Lebanon into Israel last Monday.
According to the information provided by the relevant authorities, 41 people were killed and 124 were injured in Lebanon during the day-long Israeli attack.
The Gaza war began on October 7 last year. Since then, Hezbollah has been fighting against Israel with the support of the Palestinian independence organization Hamas. Both sides have been firing rockets and missiles on the border between Lebanon and Israel for a long time. Israel has stepped up its bombing campaign in Lebanon over the past month. Israel launched a ground operation there earlier this month. According to Lebanon’s Ministry of Health, around 1,500 people have been killed in the country since the start of the Israeli ground offensive. The actual number of casualties in the war may be higher.
“We will continue to attack Hezbollah everywhere in Lebanon, including Beirut,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday after Hezbollah attacked Israeli military bases. This attack will continue mercilessly.
The Lebanese government’s emergency committee said yesterday that 146 Israeli attacks have occurred in Lebanon in the past 24 hours. According to an official report, Israel has carried out 10,000 attacks in Lebanon so far.
